Luck sometimes ends, as it did for us. Just a few weeks ago, when we were getting closer to travel to Portugal to shake off
all the rain we’ve had this summer, Bergfrid was unlucky enough to fall off her bike on her way to work, breaking her knee (upper part of the Tibia).
This resulted in 13 wonderful stitches on the left side of her knee, and no less than 43 staples(!) on the other, and of course a three months
ban on walking and flying.
Gosh, this looks so painful ;-(
Bergfrid, wishing you a very quick recovery. Good luck with your new job – it sounds very interesting!
